What a privilege! I came to Long Beach as a teen, to skate, enjoy Subway sandwiches, and film tricks. After coming to faith, being eager to say Lord open what doors you have, and use what brings your glory, it is such a blessing to stand before a room of eager Christian servants, who serve diligently in such a diverse city for the purpose of loving the lost. What did we dig into? Not only a great breakfast, but Ephesians 2;10, where we are told and affirmed that “we are” not just might be, or are to try to be, but actually “are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.” These men and women encouraged me in such an amazing way. God is good!
